IICAPS Licensed Clinician - Multiple Locations

Job description

Family & Children's Aid (FCA) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinician to join our Intensive In-home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) program. 

The IICAPS model is designed to address specific psychiatric disorders in the clients between the ages of 5 and 17, while teaching effective parenting practices and/or addressing other family challenges that effect the child and family’s ability to function. While children with psychiatric symptoms are the focus of intervention, the model addresses and intervenes within the domains that impact the child most directly: family, school, community resources and service systems.

We are seeking Clinicians for Bridgeport, New Milford, Torrington and Waterbury, 

The IICAPS Clinician works in partnership with a Bachelor’s Level Mental Health Counselor fostering positive relationships with clients, families, school systems and community providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive care in all areas. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conduct Individual, Parent & Family therapy sessions within the home and community
  • Complete Risk Assessment and co-construct safety plans as needed
  • Conduct Clinical Assessments
  • Create Treatment Plans and conduct reviews as warranted
  • Complete Discharge Summaries, planning for appropriate aftercare services
  • Limited on-call Support

Salary

  • Competitive Salary $55,120.00 (LMSW, PCA and MFTA) - $60,320.00 (LCSW, LMFT and LPC) plus an additional $2 per hour for face to face time with clients.

Face to face services are being provided. Telehealth is ONLY provided on a case by case basis. All appropriate PPE is provided to employees.

Job requirements

  • The Licensed Clinician needs to have an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
  • Afternoon and evening work hour availability required
  • Valid CT Driver's License and clean driving record required
  • Experience providing in-home therapy highly preferred
